I remember being too tired at the end of the day to enjoy a bike ride with my kids. Coming home from a family hike to realize that I didn't have energy left to do the dishes. Hanging on the monkey bars with my daughter, only to find I didn't really have the strength for a favorite childhood activity. I didn't want those things to become the new normal. Or worse, to lose the ability to share my passions with my kids. What if I taught my kids to ski, but could no longer keep up? I wanted to DO things with my family. I would not be defined by laundry and nagging. I was to be the mom who participates. And I wanted my kids to see me DOING things that were fun. CrossFit provided that and more. It brought back the strength, endurance, and energy, along with passion and confidence. Every day, I went home sure that I could keep going.
Motivation & Passion
As a coach, I want to help people to discover every day that they can do more than they ever thought they could. I believe that functional fitness is all about making life BETTER. Both physically and mentally. Each WOD is a discovery of what you can do, and proof that you are stronger than you were before. I will help you build the functional movements that will keep you moving in life, now and for many years to come. I also want every member to leave the gym having discovered an inner strength that carries into everything they do.
